This is a VERY high-quality device. Although really designed for hydroponic growing, it will measure any liquid. I found it to be very easy to use and easy to read. Calibrates quickly and seems to be very accurate.

The Bluetooth app is a big advantage over comparable brands because it saves measurements and lets you add notes. My only criticism is that it displays EC rather than PPM, so you'll need to convert the values if you prefer PPM.

Love this pen! Easy to use. Could have the light stay on longer or have an option to stay on or off but, all in all great ph pen for the price. I also like the ability to replace the probe instead of having to toss the whole thing.

Compared to my old meter, the OnePen locks onto a stable pH reading much faster with no bouncing around. The Edenic app is genuinely well designed and makes data logging easy. Despite an initial defective unit that Amazon replaced, the replacement has been flawless. Highly recommended for fast, reliable pH readings.

I ordered this on impulse to test soil for gardening on a property that we don't already have soil tests for. It's so much more convenient to be able to easily take multiple readings across various beds to get to know the conditions more quickly (and accurately) than sending off samples. However, after reading other reviews, I'm also now excited to use it for fermenting. I've wanted to try out some fermentation recipes but have been intimidated by food safety concerns. I'm actually particularly happy to have this secondary use for this pH meter. I've been very happy with it for my original use, but unlike some of the other reviewers, I'm not using this in a professional capacity. Wider applications make this seem like less of a splurge and more of a wise decision. I'd highly recommend this testing pen, especially if you have an appreciation of data for decision making!

The replaceable sensor means this should be the last pH pen I need to buy. The app is intuitive, customer service was excellent, and it's built like a tank.

I am not one for super technically proficient reviews because I just don't have the discipline to take such detailed notes maybe. But I can say it this way. For many years, even decades now, I've relied on an old-school continuously monitoring TDS / PH meter, plus a cheap thermometer. Also, a pen and notepad on a clipboard all kept hanging by my grow tent or hydroponic garden. With the BlueLab OnePen I can simply calibrate, float the pen to take and log readings, and use the app for tracking and trend lines!Honestly, when I look at my old system it is mounted on a board that is about 24 inches by 18 inches with power wire, PH probe wire, PH ground wire, TDS probe wire. Also a separate thermometer, along with my clipboard and pen attached with wires. It now seems ridiculous because I have the BlueLab OnePen. I hope this inspires others who are still making use of their old, original testing equipment versus getting the new technology. I found it to be completely worth it to make the upgrade.
